Letter to the editor…
Recently, Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed stated that the government believed in “100 per cent” freedom of the press and the media.
If his claim is accurate, how does he justify the existence of his ministry? Or, is the minister and his entire staff getting paid for doing nothing?
