PML-N plotting against media: Pervaiz
LAHORE: PAKISTAN Muslim League (Q) Central Leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that the true face of Punjab chief minister had been uncovered as he was the mastermind behind the conspiracy against media.
Addressing party office-bearers at his residence, he said that PML-N was brought in power by the media and now when the media is performing its rightful duty of exposing cheaters, the CM Punjab spearheaded a campaign against it, said a press release on Sunday.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that PML-N was the political party, which owed the most to the media because when they were out on the streets it; was the media which supported them and paved their way to the government ranks. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the media should not fall into the false traps of a bleak pro-media resolution as the PML-N was planning a second strategy against media which it planned to unleash soon. The PML-Q leader said that dumping all the blame on a weak link like Sana Ullah Mastikhel was a cowardly act on part of the CM Punjab which backfired. He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif and the CM should have taken responsibility of the party stance instead of eating their words. The PML-Q leader said that shedding off responsibility was a key feature of PML-N as they still refuse to take responsibility for making the once rich province bankrupt. He said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif believed in oppression as the core principle of governance and this instinctive attitude led him to try these tactics on the media as well. The PML-Q leader lauded the unity and professionalism of the media and alerted them of the coming dangers from the PML-N.
