Periodicals’ importance highlighted
KARACHI, Sep 2: The managing director, Orient Advertising (Pvt) Ltd, S. H. Hashmi, has said that periodical publications are effective and important media which have not been given due importance by the advertisers in the past.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, he was delivering a lecture at the APNS Secretariat here on Tuesday.
The APNS Periodicals Committee organized the first lecture in which Mr Hashmi spoke on ‘Contribution of Periodical Media in a Successful Advertising Campaign’.
He noted that the APNS had become a more effective organization and had started education and training of its member publications.
Mr Hashmi highlighted the importance of periodical media in dissemination of advertising message as the periodicals were not only widely read but their periodicity was longer than that of the other media. The periodicals published in Pakistan are not only circulated in the local readership but also read in all countries where Pakistanis lived.
Earlier, Waqar Yousuf Azeemi highlighted the importance of periodicals in terms of circulation, periodicity, area of influence and nation-wide acceptance.- PPI
