Nawa-i-Waqt Group raises Rs 2.5m for flood victims
LAHORE – The Nawa-i-Waqt Group has raised Rs 2.5 million for the flood victims, which the group chief Majid Nizami will present to Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani during the next few days.
The Group has set up a special fund for the assistance of the flood victims and is appealing to the donors and philanthropists to donate generously. The Group has always done its best to help the people in distress.
It is also raising funds for the stranded Pakistanis in Bangladesh. Tens of millions of rupees have already been sent to those who have unwavering commitment with Pakistan and are not willing to accept Bangladesh’s nationality despite offers.
