ISLAMABAD, February 03 2006: A meeting of Mediation Committee of the National Assembly was held here on Thursday February 2 in the Parliament House.

MNA Malik Allah Yar Khan presided over the meeting on behalf of the chairman of the committee, Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi, who did not attend due to illness. The committee asked PEMRA to provide written replies to the committee members regarding the proposed amendments and stakeholders before the next meeting of the committee. It also decided that the PEMRA Bill, 2005 would be discussed and examined clause by clause in the next meeting, the date and time of which would be fixed after consultation with the committee chairman.
