Mushtaq Malik takes over as PEMRA chief
ISLAMABAD: Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, a senior bureaucrat of Secretariat Services, has been appointed Chairman of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) with immediate effect. Malik assumed the charge of the authority’s chairman after the expiry of term of his predecessor Iftikhar Rashid on Friday. The new Pemra chairman Mushtaq Ahmed Malik is known as a seasoned bureaucrat having diversified work experience in many government departments since his induction into civil services in 1975. He has served at various senior positions at the federal and Punjab governments.
