Man throws acid on wife’s face
PESHAWAR – A young woman sustained critical burn injuries when her husband threw acid on her face in Latifabad on July 9.
The woman, Basira was married to one Musa Khan. However, the couple separated after their families developed differences. The woman was living in her uncle’s house in Latifabad, jurisdiction of Faqirabad police station, when her husband along with some other accomplices allegedly came there on July 9 and threw acid on her face.
She was admitted to the burn unit of the Khyber Teaching Hospital after sustaining critical burn injuries on her face and other parts of the body. A case was registered against Musa Khan and his other accomplices.
