Man kills wife
JACOBABAD: A woman was allegedly killed by her husband in the Umed Ali Domki village in the Rasaldar area of Kandhkot-Kashmore district.
Reports reaching here said that Dad Ali Jakhrani with the help of accomplices strangled his wife at his home.
Police handed over the body to the woman’s relatives after post-mortem at the Civil Hospital Kandhkot.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Asif has confessed to murdering his wife before the civil judge and judicial magistrate Mirpurkhas-I, when he was produced by police in the court on Tuesday, reports our Mirpurkhas correspondent.
In his statement, Asif said that he had strangulated his wife Nosheen, 22, to death over some domestic affair. The court sent him to district prison Mirpurkhas.
Nosheen’s body was found from her house in Noor Shah Colony in mysterious circumstances on March 11.
Police interrogated her husband Mohammad Asif who confessed to the crime before the police and judicial magistrate.
