LSE generates 40pc volume through Internet terminals
LAHORE- In a major breakthrough, Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) has generated 40 per cent of its total volume through Internet terminals. It is to be noted that 25 percent of the total number of trading terminals of LSE are being operated through the internet.
The press statement from LSE mentioned that the achievement could make possible due to a number of significant measures taken by the LSE management to facilitate trading through internet.
It is also worth noting that LSE was the first exchange in Pakistan to be moved to Electronic Trading in 1996 and the first to offer internet trading in 2001.
