KUJ elects new office bearers
KARACHI- Member of Karachi Union of Journalists (Dastori) have elected Abdul Hafeez Noori and Ahmed Daraz as President and General Secretary respectively for the Year 2003-2004.
Iftikhar Jameel Jaffery (The News) and Syed Azhar Hussain (Daily Jang) were elected as Vice Presidents, whereas Tariq Aslam and Shams Kereo (both of Daily Ummat) were elected as Joint Secretaries.
Masroor Ahmed (Daily Ummat) was elected as treasurer and Amir Lateef (Online) was elected as Information Secretary.
While the nine elected members of the executive body include Kashif Jabbar, Asif Jeja, Sohail Rafique, Javed Mehar, Chaudhry Talib Chohan Gujjar, Riaz Ahmed Saghar and Usman Siddiqui.
It is also to be mentioned that President Abdul Hafeez Noori and Secretary Ahmed Daraz were elected unopposed.
