KP govt to establish IT park on UoP premises
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board (KPITB) would establish a state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) park on the premises of University of Peshawar with the aim to provide ample opportunities of international standard IT education and training to the students under one roof.
It was decided in principle at a meeting held at the University of Engineer and
Technology, Peshawar, on Tuesday.Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Information Technology Shahram Tarakai presided over the meeting. University of Peshawar Vice Chancellor Prof. Rasool Jan, VC Engineering University Syed Imtiaz Hussain Gillani, VC Agriculture University, Prof. Zahoor Ahmad Swati, VC Islamia College University Ajmal Khan, Director KP
ITB Asim Jamshed and other officials attended the meeting.It was decided that syndicate and senate of the university would be approached for a final approval of the scheme.
