JI condoles with family of slain journalist
KARACHI: A high level Jamaat-e-Islamai (JI) delegation, currently in Karachi to assess the harm being done by the target killing in the port city, on Monday visited the house of a private tv channel’s reporter Wali Khan Babar to express their condolences with the bereaved family.
The seven-member delegation, headed by JI deputy chief Dr Muhammad Kamal, paid homage to the slain journalist and said the whole nation shared the grief of the family.
They said late Wali Khan Babar was a bold and courageous young man and his services upholding the noble journalistic values were a model for others.
