Iqra University organises advertising fair
KARACHI (December 07 2003): The advertising exhibition 2003 of Iqra University was held at its Executive Development Centre here on Saturday.
It was organised under the auspices of the Institute of Advertising of the Iqra University.
Chairman, Marketing Association of Pakistan (MAP), Masood Hashmi, was the chief guest and gave away visitors’ choice award.
As many as 16 organisations including the local as well as multinationals participated in the daylong event, Farah Nasim, a spokesperson of the University said.
She said the exhibitors shared generously their strategies with the visitors who included the university students and others.
Farah said the exhibition provided an opportunity to the visitors to experience and learn from the most successful advertising campaigns that have helped organisations like Gillette, Pepsi, Siemens, Muslim Commercial Bank, Instaphone, LG, National Foods and Tapal to achieve their goals and objectives.
She said Iqra University has already initiated a degree specialisation in advertising.
