IFJ concerned over journalists’ safety
KARACHI,May 03: The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has issued new warnings about the safety of journalists in Pakistan as four journalists were injured in the last week’s suicide bomb attack aimed at Federal Interior Minister Aftab Khan Sherpao, in Charsadda.
This incident highlighted the dangers, facing by journalists in Pakistan, IFJ President Christopher Warren said in a statement mailed to the press on Wednesday. According to reports, 28 people were killed in the suicide attack, and many injured.
