Husband slaughters wife
LAHORE – A labourer slaughtered his wife on the suspicion of illicit relations in Kahna area, the police said on June 13.
Ilyas Masih slaughtered his wife, Zahida Bibi (28) with a sharp edged weapon in Badduki village area on the suspicion of alleged illicit relations with a boy of the same locality, the police said.
The police quoting the complainant said Ilyas Masih used to force her wife to mend her ways. “But she did not pay heed”, the complainant told the police adding on the day of incident both exchanged harsh words on the same topic.
llyas Masih got infuriated and slaughtered his wife Zahida. The killer managed to escape from the scene. The police have removed the body to the morgue and are investigating.
