Hudood laws cannot be repealed: JI
KARACHI – Hudood laws have been enacted as per the teachings of Islam and cannot be repealed.
This was stated by Sabiha Shahid, a member of the Jamaat-i-Islami’s central executive committee (women wing) while speaking at a gathering at JI Karachi office on July 21.
Stressing that Pakistan is an ideologcal state, she pointed out that under its Constitution, no legislation could be made in contrvention of Quran and Sunnah.
