End to media coverage of SC can improve situation: minister
ISLAMABAD: Sindh Information Minister Sharjil Memon Wednesday said current situation in Pakistan would improve if media stops giving coverage to the Supreme Court.
He criticised the Supreme Court for pursuing the Swiss case out of 8,000 NRO cases.“The prime minister would write to the Swiss government to reopen graft cases only if the constitution allowed so, otherwise no way,” the PPP leader said while addressing a press conference at the National Press Club.
He also referred to the cases relating to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. “Conspiracies are being hatched against the democratic government from day one,” he said. “One prime minister is hanged while the other is sent on exile,” he said.
