Departed journalists remembered
A remembrance meeting to condole the recent death of two journalists, Khalid Rasheed and photojournalist Samuel Benjamin, was held at the Karachi Press Club on Saturday.
While paying tributes to them, it was agreed that the Journalists Foundation, needed to be resuscitated, and in this connection, they said journalists should pursue the goal ardently.
Anil Datta reminisced about the two departed journalists in a very sentimental tone and recalled in particular his association with the late Samuel Benjamin. Others who spoke on the occasion included, Saeed Khawar, Rashid Noor, and Yousuf Khan. Late Khalid RasheedÃs father, Abdur Rasheed, was also present on the occasion.
