Dawn staffer grieved
KARACHI: Mother of Dawn’s senior sub-editor Naseer Ahmad Awan died in a hospital here on Sunday afternoon after brief illness. She was 75.
She has left behind two sons and four daughters.
The funeral prayers were offered at the Jamia Masjid Ibrahim in Bhitai Colony. She was buried in the Ibrahim Haidery graveyard. Quran Khwani for men will be held on Tuesday after Asr prayers in the same mosque and for women at Mr Awan’s residence, D 353, Bhitai Colony, Korangi crossing
