LAHORE: ANNUAL book fair and fun fair at Ameeruddin Medical College was held at Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) on Wednesday.

The function was attended by students with enthusiasm and they kept visiting various stalls and entertainment points all the day. The first dean of the institute, Prof M Tahir, was the chief guest of the event. According to a press release, the most attractive feature of the fun fair was the palmist who remained busy telling the students about their life. The students also showed immense interest in a play, depicting the story of a prisoner who got had himself released by bribing the jail staff. The students of nursing school of LGH also attended the fun fair. Talking to the media on this occasion, PGMI Principal Prof Anjum Habib Vohra said that objective of holding this book fair was to promote medical education, provision of research opportunities to young doctors and to update their knowledge through books.
