The miscreants burnt a few copies of daily Jang and Akhbar-e-Jehan in Sakrand while the linguistic organisation agitated against Jang Group. Local cable operators also shut down telecasts of Geo News for some time due to pressure from the organisation.

Telecasts of Geo News were also closed down for a while in Sethareja. Cable operators of Sethareja, Jabbar Ariyan, told The News that activists of nationalist parties were pressuring them to block telecasts of Geo News.
