All cinemas in Swat closed

SWAT: All cinema houses throughout District Swat have been closed for an indefinite period after the cinema owners received threatening notes from the unidentified persons.

A report from Swat DCO and law enforcing agencies discloses that Pulwasha Cinema in Mangora and Aina Cinema in Swat have been closed for an indefinite period.

All the cinemas in Nowshera have also been closed after the threatening notes from unidentified men continued to harass the owners.

Similarly, the business of the hairdressing and CDs has also become fully paralysed in the area and most of the people are busy relocating themselves in other districts.

Majority of them have shifted their business to Peshawar, Charsadda and Nowshera districts. Kohat CD shops blown up: Some CD shops at Afridi market in Balitang area were damaged when an explosive device went off with a big bang in Kohat, police said Thursday.

However, no casualty was reported. The blast also destroyed shutters of the nearby shops. Police has registered case against the unknown accused on the complaint of one Nasrullah Khan.
