4 women killed, one kidnapped
Larkana, March 1, 2005 :As many as four women were killed and one kidnapped in different incidents in Larkana and adjoining areas during last 24 hours.
According to details, Akber Jagrani killed his wife strangulting her with a rope on the charges of having illicit relations with some one in village Sachey Bukash Jagarani. The deceased’s brother Mahmood Jagrani living in Saudi Arbia, lodged a report against her husband by making phone call from there.
In village Bharam, Mukhtar Khatoon was also shot dead by her husband Manzoor Chandio on same charges under Karo-kari.
In another incident, Lahno Umrani also shot dead his wife Karma near Areja Nako, while in village Abdul Latif Chandio, accused Latif Chandio cut throat of his wife 40-year old Khairan while she was asleep.
