Microsoft to play role in Punjab
KARACHI: Microsoft Pakistan is to enlist Windows 8.1 Hackathon as technology partners at the Punjab Youth Festival 2014 in Lahore, a Microsoft press release said on Friday.
The Windows 8.1 app development Hackathon is a project launched in Pakistan by Microsoft’s Innovation Center-Lahore, which is currently engaged in facilitating technical training sessions in universities in Bahawalpur, Gujrat, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and other cities across the country.
The Windows 8.1 Hackathon is structured as the first of mega-scale technological projects in Pakistan. It’s an initiative for students and developers to learn new app development skills and distinguish themselves in the technological market.
