JACOBABAD – District Union of Journalists Jacobabad on Sunday organised a reference at Press Club to pay tributes to local journalists who have passed away.

In the reference tributes were paid to late journalists Ghalib Latif, Fatah Abid, shafi Ali Khan, syed Tehzib Rizvi, Laeeque Mian Achakzai, Balam Brohi and Ali Sher Afridi.

Sardar Kahn Lashari, syed Nazar Abbass Bukhari, Abdul sattar Brohi, Dr Ghulam Nabi sadhayo, Mumtaz Mangrio, sB Khoso and others paid rich tribute to deceased journalists and said that they played a better role in creating awareness among the people about sindhi culture and language. They said that they had up held sanctity of journalism.

Dr Dad Muhammad Brohi, Abdul sattar Abid, Waseem Balam Brohi, Abdul Rahman Afridi, Intezar Abro, also spoke on the occasion. In the end fateha was offered for journalist Murshid Jillani, who died of heart attack at sukkur.
