LAHORE, Feb 25: Veteran journalist and media rights activist Minhaj Barna was operated upon successfully at a Garden Town hospital for a bone fracture on Sunday.
Mr Barna, a former president of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, had come to the city from Islamabad to attend a meeting for forming South Asia Press Commission’s Pakistan chapter, a media rights watchdog, when he got a pelvic bone fracture while getting out of a vehicle.
