Young journalist belonging to Hyderabad passes away
KARACHI:Another scion of the renowned Kazi family of Hyderabad passed away in Los Angeles California on November 10. The death of Kazi Jawad Akbar who was the grandson of former media stalwarts and senior politicians, the late Kazi Abdul Majeed Abid and the late Kazi Mohammad Akbar came just nine months after the death of his publisher father, the late Kazi Saeed Akbar.
He is said to have died peacefully in his sleep due to heart failure stemming from diabetic complications. He is survived by many members of the family including Kazi Asad Abid, Aslam Kazi, Kazi Sajjad Akbar, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq, Dr Fehmida Mirza, and Shazia Akbar Abbasi.
To his friends and family, lie was lovingly called Jay and they describe him as having an infectious sense of humour, which brought many smiles to any room he entered. He also had a great talent for journalism and his experience in the field included serving as Editor of the Monthly Mirror Magazine. Many notables and various politicians have already started sending their condolence messages to the bereaved family expressing earnest prayers for bearing this great loss.
