women killed in Jhang
JHANG, January 25,2005: Three women were killed in many parts of the district during the last 24 hours. Reports said ‘R’ of Qadirpur Baksha village was killed by her husband and son on suspicion of illicit relations.
The body of Irshad Bibi was found lying in a drain in Kot Sai Singh village. The woman had instituted a marriage dissolution case against her husband and was living with her father.
She went to the district courts in connection with her case on Monday. When Irshad did not return till late night, her relatives started searching her. In the meantime, somebody told her father that a body was lying in a drain. Later, she was identified.
