Woman killed
Sahiwal, January 24,2005(PPI): A woman was reported gunned down on her refusal to marry her daughter to a man, at the Chak 101/9-L, here on the Eid day. According to details, one Muhammad Yaseen had asked one Miran Bibi to marry her daughter Sameena with his brother Zafar Iqbal. On her refusal, Muhammad Yaseen and Zafar Iqbal were annoyed. They opened fire on the family, killing Miran Bibi on the spot and injuring seriously his son Parvez Iqbal and Sameena. In another incident, three accused, Saleem, Muhammad Yaseen and Abdul Wahab, raided the house of their opponents at village Arazi Shahamand and opened fire to revenge the murder of their father.
