Woman booked after her dog attacks anchor

Pakistan Press Foundation

A female anchor has filed an FIR at the Darakhshan police station in Karachi against a woman whose dog attacked her in the upmarket Defence neighbourhood.

Police said they have registered the FIR on the complaint of anchorwoman Qandeel Nasra. The complaint states that Qandeel lives in a residential apartment building in Defence Phase-V on Khayaban-e-Shamsheer.

The anchor’s complaint further states that Ayesha, against whom she has filed her complaint, lives alone in the same apartment building. Qandeel claims that on the night of January 20, Ayesha’s dog attacked and wounded her near the Khadda Market in Defence Phase-V.

The anchorwoman demanded that the dog should be taken away from the building because the presence of the canine has been causing fear and panic among the residents.
