Website for medical students launched
KARACHI — An educational website to improve educational and practical skills of underÂgraduate and postgraduate medical students and professionals was launched on May 22 by Pakistan Medial Association (PMA) in collaboration with MedinBytes at PMA House.
The website www.medinbytes.com has been developed and presented by Mainmoona Azhar Salim, 4th year student of Dow Medical College Karachi along with Javed Aziz Khan, student of 4th year, NED University of Engineering and Technology.
Mainmoona Azhar Salim, giving details of website said that it was a digital platform, which would harbour a digital learning resource centre and an e-testing service to facilitate medical students and make their learning effective.
“It includes all faculty of medicines ad practical surgeries supported by videos like cardio, eye, ENT, Gyneobse and Plastic surgery, etc., and can be helpful in preparation for examination,” she maintained.
“It intends to promote medical e-learning resource centre and an e-testing service to facilitate medical e-learning by providing a self-assessment opportunity to both undergraduates and postgraduates,” she said adding that it was enforced with animated mechanisms, clinical care scenarios and live videos.
