Web-based software ICT launched
KARACHI, May 01, 2005: National Productivity Organisation (NPO), Ministry of Industries, Production and Special Initiative has launched web based software Information Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance manufacturing, productivity and quality in the Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) sector.
The NPO launched ICT software in collaboration with Belmah Strategies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. and MoU was inked at a seminar on Implementation of ICT as productive tool in SME sector held at Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) on April 30. For the purpose, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NBP and KCCI. This MoU came into force immediately after it was signed by the parties and shall remain valid till the request to repeal it is made by either side.
