ISLAMABAD- The Foreign Office Spokesman revealed that the reporter of London’s Sunday Telegraph, present in Pakistan, had impersonated as the American sought- after Osama bin Laden and bought a ticket in the name of 0. B. Laden.
When the travelling agency asked for her passport and other documents, Christina Lamb, did not submit them for two days. The agency got suspicious and referred the matter to the police.
The Foreign Office spokesman warned the international media representatives that this was a bid to malign Pakistan and give the impression that Osama was present and living in the Pakistan, perhaps under the protection of the agencies here. The spokesman asked the foreign reporters, both male and female, to avoid anti-Pakistan stance in this difficult hour for the country when she has joined the battle to fight against terrorism.
