TV journalist’s death condoled
HYDERABAD: Journalists of Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Hyderabad Press Club and Electronic Media Association, held a condolence meeting and Fateha Khwani for a senior cameraman of Samaa TV, Arif Malik, who was killed in Quetta in a suicide attack.
The meeting demanded that an adequate compensation should be paid to the bereaved family of Arif Malik and the injured journalist and cameraman should be provided medical treatment at state expenses.
The meeting also urged the owners of TV channels to arrange training programmes for their staff and provide them bullet proof jackets.
