MITHI: A Thari journalist, Ghulam Ali Khoso, passed away in a hospital in Karachi. He was 42. Khoso, who was associated with a leading Sindhi TV channel KTN and Daily Kawish as a reporter in the hilly town of Nagarparkar, was injured in a road accident a few weeks back in Nagarparkar town. Being from a poor family, he could not get proper treatment for his minor injuries and was first shifted to Civil Hospital Mithi, from where he was referred to the Trauma Centre in Karachi, where he breathed his last today.

The friends and family members of the well-known Thari journalist, talking to this reporter, deplored that they had requested the high-ups of the Sindh government and heads of the so-called journalists’ organizations, but nobody came forward to help them get him properly treated. He was admitted to the Trauma Centre, where he was also not provided with the required healthcare. Ghulam Ali left behind two minor daughters, a wife, and other family members, relatives, and friends to mourn his death

The PPP chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in his message expressed his grief over the death of the Thari journalist and termed it an irreparable loss for the family. He said that with the death of Mr. Khoso, a void had been created which could hardly be filled. The PPP chairman prayed for the departed soul to rest in a high place in the heavens.
