The News staffer grieved
Shaikh Fazal Ahmed was laid to rest in the Islamabad Graveyard. His Namaz-e-Janaza was held on Sunday night, which was attended by a large number of relatives, friends and senior military and civil officials. He left behind four sons Shakil Shaikh, Zubair Shaikh, Sarmad Shaikh and Sarfraz Shaikh.The Qul of Shaikh Fazal Ahmed would be held on Tuesday at his residence — House No. 844, Street No. 106, Sector G-9/4, Islamabad — after Asr prayers.The Workers Union of The News has condoled with Shakil Shaikh on the death of his father and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
