The education and literacy department, government of Sindh, has taken serious notice of brutal/corporal punishment of students recently reported in the international press and the media tarnishing the image of our country, said a handout on Thursday.
The secretary education issued instructions and warned all the educational institutions to stop corporal punishment and make sure that no such incident will take place in future. He said action against such persons will be taken according to the rules and the law. – PPI
