Sukkur TMA website launched
SUKKUR: Sindh Minister for Local Government Muhammad Hussain on Thursday night launched the official website of the Sukkur TMA City at the Muhammad Ali Johar Park.
Addressing the ceremony, he said that with the establishment of the website and the GIS mapping system, the TMA would come at par with IT developed areas of the country. “With the introduction of the website, the TMA would now have complete data and required information available,” he said.
He said a summary for the grant of Rs 200 million has been sent to the chief minister for approval, adding that Rs 30 million has also been approved for the overhead bridge to be constructed at the New Pind, Sukkur.
He said the reassessment of TMA properties in Sindh would be carried out for the proper appropriation of taxes. He also appealed to the business community and citizens to adopt the taxpaying culture. He said local government commission offices would also be set up in every district where complaints regarding corruption, mismanagement and substandard quality of development works would be registered.
