MIRPURKHAS – The Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) Managing Director Naheed Shah Durrani has urged the students to get information technology education , as it is need of the hour to compete in the world. She was talking to media here on Tuesday after visiting The Hope High School Mirwah Gorchani. She said: “We should encourage the students to get IT education so that they could compete in higher exam and for the country as well.”

SEF MD further expressed that the Sindh government had already launched various programmes of quality education of the students particularly in rural areas in the province.

She said that Sindh education foundation was paying its important role in the society to give modern quality education to the students .

Earlier, she visited the school along with Deputy Commissioner Zahid Hussain Memon, Director Human resources Naseemuddin Meerani, Director Administration Abdullah Abbasi, Regional Assistant Director Mirpurkhas Ashfaque Hussain Meerani, chair person Head Mistress Shehnaz Begum, Journalist Ismail Khilji and others.

She examined thoroughly the newly-constructed building of the school. She expressed satisfaction over the school performance of the SEF. She also visited the village Gabool near Satyai farm where she offered fateha and distributed cheques of compensation to heirs of Perveen, a teacher who had been killed in accident on August 26, 2017 and also some injured. Later, she held meeting with officers of the SEF Mirpurkhas division in the office and directed the officers to work hard to play their role in spreading quality education .

She stressed need for recruitment of good teachers and ensures use of modern technology by the schoolchildren.
