Sindhi journalists want Shahbaz in Sindh for five years

LAHORE: All development projects of the Punjab government, including metro bus service, are an example to follow for the other federating units of the country.

If Punjab gives away Mian Shahbaz Sharif to Sindh province only for five years, that province could also be put on the road to progress. These views were expressed by members of a Sindhi journalists’ delegation after travelling in metro bus from Gajjo Matta to Secretariat bus station, a press release said.

The completion of uplift projects in record time periods was a proof of Shahbaz Sharif’s commitment to development of his province, the delegation members said. They said the metro bus service was not only a step in the direction of economic development of the province but also a source of fast and world-class travel facility for the commuters. The delegation members said they were surprised to come to know that the huge project was completed in only 11 months. They termed metro bus a great gift for the people of Lahore from CM Shahbaz Sharif.

A member of the delegation said those who were terming the great public welfare project a “Jangla Bus” were mentally bankrupt. Later, the delegation also attended the inaugural ceremony of Pak Tea House in Lahore. Secretary for Information and Culture Abdullah Sumbal gave a luncheon in their honour.

Member of the delegation include columnist Zahida Hina, anchorperson Mujahid Brelvi, Saeed Khawar, Sajjad Abbasi, Tahir Najmi, Amir Khattak, Mumtaz Ali, Muhammad Mustafa, Asad Abbasi and Riaz Narejo.
