Sindh university students display IT projects

HYDERABAD, April 20 2006: The Sindh University students have developed a number of software /hardware projects, including security system and telecommunication system, traffic regulation system, auto visual collection of deployment of Voiceover Internet Protocol (VOIP) in Business Environment through information technology.

The projects were displayed on April 19 in an annual hardware /software project exhibition of the final year students of BSIT, software engineering, electronics and telecommunication disciplines of the Institute of the Information Technology (IIT) .A total of 85 projects are part of the research development by 360 students of various disciplines.

Vice chancellor University of Sindh Mazharul Haq Siddiqui inaugurated the exhibition .In the exhibition, the students displayed their projects on various topics of computer base optical counting system , database management for telemedicine ,multimedia messaging service and exposure of disaster management through multimedia, railway crossing on computer vision techniques, security monitoring system, solar tracking system and voice synthesis and others.
