Sindh Chief Secretary Vows Support for Karachi Press Club Development Projects
On October 25, Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Hyder Shah met with a delegation from the Karachi Press Club (KPC) to discuss issues related to land allotment, development projects, and the welfare of KPC members. The delegation, led by KPC President Saeed Sarbazi and Secretary Shoaib Ahmed, raised concerns regarding plot allotment for new members, the lease of the Land Development Authority (LDA), solarization of the KPC, and MDA plots.
Shah assured the delegation of his full cooperation and commitment to resolving the issues. He directed relevant departments to take necessary action to address the concerns raised, particularly those related to land allocation and development of the KPC. Shah emphasized the historical significance of the Karachi Press Club and stated that the needs of its members would be prioritized. The government will take all possible measures to bring positive changes in the lives of the Press Club members.
The meeting concluded with KPC President Sarbazi expressing gratitude for the government’s assurances and support. He expressed hope that the government’s commitment would lead to positive changes in the lives of KPC members.
The meeting was attended by Secretary of Information Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon, members of the Governing Body of KPC Shams Kerio and Muhammad Munsif, Director General of Information Muhammad Saleem Khan, Special Secretary Local Government, Director General KDA, MDA, and other relevant officials.
