Sikandar Baloch passes away
HYDERABAD: Renowned broadcaster and haying name in Guineas Book of World record Sikandar Baloch passed away on Tuesday morning in local hospital. He was about 70. He was admitted there due to cardiac arrest.
He had joined Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation as producer in 1966 and retired as Station Director Hyderabad in 2000. He was the pioneer of social development broadcasting and he successfully developed a remote areas village as a model town, that’s why his name included in Guineas Book of World Record.
He also got pride of performance award as best broadcaster. He also produced various programes for Radio Pakistan which was got enormous popularity.
He left 2 sons, 3 daughters and one widow. His funeral prayer held in Tando Agha graveyard, prominent figures of different walks of life attended the funeral.
