Senior Journalist Zulf Pirzado Remembered on First Death Anniversary

The first death anniversary of senior journalist Zulf Pirzado was marked with a commemorative program organized by the Sindh Journalists Council (SJC) on January 25. The event, co-hosted by the SJC and the late journalist’s family, was attended by a large number of journalists, friends, and colleagues.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Editor of Daily Awami Awaz, Dr. Jabbar Khattak, paid heartfelt tributes to Pirzado, describing him as a creative and dedicated media professional. Dr. Khattak said that Pirzado’s untimely passing was a major loss for Daily Awami Awaz, as the publication lost not only a talented journalist but also momentum in its professional endeavors.
Former Karachi Press Club President Imtiaz Khan Faran, senior journalist Dr. Ayub Shaikh, Bureau Chief of the Associated Press of Pakistan Abdullah Sarohi, Naimat Khuhro, Mahesh Kumar, Altaf Pirzado, Zarar Peerzado, Aijaz Shaikh, Sarwar Samejo, Rafiwue Bhutto, Sheema Kirmani, Marvi Palejo, Ghazi Jhandeer of SJC, Khalida Zulf Peerzado, and Manik Kingrani also addressed the gathering. They highlighted Pirzado’s professionalism and his unwavering commitment to highlighting critical issues affecting the country and Sindh through his writings.
