SC moved for commission on journalist’s killing
Lahore: A constitutional petition on Tuesday was moved in the Supreme Court, seeking constitution of a judicial commission on the murder of journalist Saleem Shahzad.
The petitioner, Barrister Zafarullah Khan, said that the retired judge of the SC Khalilur Rehman Ramday or any other judge should be made the head of the commission. He said representatives of the APNS, CPNE, PFUJ and journalists from the electronic media should be included in the commission. He said the Punjab government had failed to provide security to the citizens and nobody was safe in the country.
