Mukhtiar Shah said that they had contacted the city police stations but received no information about the whereabouts of his uncle. He said that his uncle was a patient of ulcer and jaundice and his life was in danger. He said that if any case was registered against him, he should be produced in the court of law. Answering a question, he said that they had received information that his uncle was whisked away in a car by some mufti-clad persons. He suspected that they belonged to some state agency.
