Samina Pervaiz appointed DG PBC
ISLAMABAD: Mrs. Samina Pervaiz, a BS-21 officer of the Information Group has been posted Director General, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) with immediate effect.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting issued notification to this effect on Tuesday afternoon. She had been serving as Director General External Publicity Wing since January 2011.
Mrs. Samina Pervaiz has held important appointments in the Ministry as well as Pakistan Missions abroad.
She served as Press Attache, Pakistan High Commission London and Counsellor (Press) in Pakistan High Commission Singapore.
She has managed Public Affairs Departments of important enterprises including Pakistan Railways, Agricultural Development Bank and Pakistan International Airlines.
Mrs. Samina Pervaiz has a post-graduate degree in International Relations and an M.Phil in US Studies from the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
