On independence day, PTV marketing team launched a slogan ‘Salam Pakistan’. PTV also arranged a specially transmission under the same slogan. If the idea was to change the image of PTV, I am afraid it didn’t serve the purpose.
Mere-age-old slogans with outdated copywriting cannot complete the progressive private channels as GEO, ARY, and so on. It is the quality concept and above all less state control in presenting facts to the viewers that makes a television channels the favourite among its audience. PTV must market itself in more creative ways.
