Sadia condoles Madni’s death
KARACHI- The President of Hamdard Foundation of Pakistan, Sadia Rahid, on December 11, 2002 expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Mahmood Ahmed Madni, former Executive Editor of Daily Jang and former Editor-in-Chief of Jasarat.
Paying tribute to the deceased, she said that he was a seasoned and committed journalist who never compromised on principles and always defended the freedom of press. The gap created in the field of journalism by his sudden demise will not be filled for a long time to come.
“On behalf of myself and Hamdard Foundation Pakistan I extend my heartfelt condolence and sympathies to the bereaved family and pray to Allah Almight that He may rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude and patience to his wife and other members of his family to bear this irreparable loss,” she said.
