Registration of women in army begins
KARACHI: The process of registration for the induction of women as captains in the Pakistan Army’s corps of electrical and mechanical engineers, ordinance corps and law branch, has commenced, stated an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.
After the completion of registration, a written test as well as a personality assessment and intelligence test would be conducted from February 19 to 22, at all army selection and recruitment centres, including those at Karachi and Hyderabad.
The test for the candidates of Army Aviation will be held on February 23. After success in the initial tests and graduation from the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul, women cadets would be inducted as captains through a direct short service commission. Further details are available on the Pakistan
